Pan's Pencil

I hide out in a world of sound,
close my eyes so I can see
a rainbow-colored road, unwound,
is spreading out in front of me.

I take a step, yet do not move,
am falling but I hit no ground.
Submerged in color, flow and groove:
my hideout in the world of sound.
